About a month ago, I looked into building niche web sites.  Niche web sites capitalize on small markets where there is a good deal of money spent for advertising and not a lot of competition.  A niche web site is narrow in focus.  A niche website is very specific.

How Do I Decide What Topic To Market On My Niche Web Site?  Google is the most likely place to do your research for topics to create a niche web site.  Do a Google search for hot topics.  Search for what’s hot in marketing.  What are your hobbies?  Do a key word search on Google’s keyword tool and find out if there is enough traffic to merit creating a niche web site.

Here is how I start my keyword search for building a niche web site:

1. I do Google search and look at the organic search results as well as sponsored links.
2. I look at Google and take the long tailed key words and place them in Google’s free keyword search tool.
3. I look at the estimate CPC (cost per click) and choose something that pays over $5.00 and has over 10,000 searches per month.
